Mario Cortellucci Heritage Centre

The Arctic Touchscreen Exhibit

In 2021 the Mario Cortellucci Hunting & Fishing Heritage Centre approached eLearnza to build an interactive touchscreen experience to enhance the Arctic exhibit in the museum.

The touchscreen needed to inform visitors about the various wildlife that the museum features including polar bears, ringed seals, peary caribou, snowy owls, willow ptarmigans, muskox, grey wolves, stone sheep, grizzly bears, barren-ground caribou and long-tailed ducks.

Each species was presented with an overview, a species ID page, the habitat in which it lives, their diet and a quiz to test the knowledge about each species in the exhibit.

Working with museum subject matter experts, eLearnza built the touchscreen and provided the museum with a template in which they could built additional interactive experiences on their own.
