Canadian Alliance of Nurse Educators using Simulation (CAN-Sim)

Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in Nursing

The SOGI Nursing Website is a Toolkit for Nurses and Nursing Educators primarily designed for use by nursing faculty, given CAN-Sim’s mission to collaborate for excellence in simulation education and research.

udents can access the free Toolkit’s lessons to help them gain a broader knowledge of sexual orientation and gender identity within the nursing profession.

No background knowledge in sexual orientation and gender identity is required. The toolkit was created to provide introductory knowledge on these topics, teaching tools, learning resources, and links to relevant external resources for users wishing to explore content in greater depth.
